John Fesler and Mary Ellen Brady

John Fesler, licensed since 1973, sold real estate, managed a real estate office of some 35 licensees, and owned his own mortgage company, Consultants West Financial Service. He was an Anthony Schools Instructor for the RE license exam prep for six years. He was also a weekend instructor at Hancock Community College for community subjects, including understanding your credit, preparing for a loan, and understanding investment properties. Mr. Fesler was a California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) instructor authorized to teach the state-required ethics course. He was also the committee chairman for his local Real Estate Association Long-Range Planning Committee and Grievance Committee and served on the Professional Standards Committee. He is currently chairperson of the Humboldt Association of REALTORS® Education Committee. He has trained real estate licensees in understanding the FHA, in using the real estate calculator, and in all aspects of real estate financing. Mr. Fesler is currently involved in the educational field as an instructor for real estate finance at the College of the Redwoods, Eureka, CA, and is an active mortgage broker as well as the developer and author of the information found at the educational site www.humboldthomeloans.com.

Mary Ellen Brady was licensed as a California real estate Salesperson in 1988. In 1992 she became a licensed California real estate broker. Ms. Brady opened her own real estate office in 1999, after working for seven years as a real estate office manager in conjunction with listing and selling residential properties. In 1993, 1996, and 1997, Ms. Brady was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Downey Association of REALTORS®. She was President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 1997 and President of the Downey Association of REALTORS® in 1998. Ms. Brady has chaired many committees within and outside of the REALTOR® association. Ms. Brady received her AA Degrees from Cerritos College in Real Estate and General Studies. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University. Ms. Brady enjoys teaching Real Estate and Business Administration courses full-time at Cerritos College.
